Put up a new site last week:

http://www.elearners.com/guide/

Some highlights:

-Dynamic Navigation on the left side

-Matching degrees from our Middle Tier DB (Show Matching Degrees) http://www.elearners.com/guide/majors-and-careers/arts-and-religion/mini-guide-to-a-communications-degree-online/

-Lots of Jquery stuff click around to see:

  • Search results pop in a div using AJAX (Kind of slow looking into it)
  • Carousel
  • Tip layers
  • Accordion Navigation
  • Other Accordion features throughout
  • A Few others not worth mentioning but giving it a nice feel

-Dynamic Site Map http://www.elearners.com/guide/site-map/  Had to split the count using a Custom Site Field, it is currently at (10)

-Ability to match students to Subjects (upper right). http://www.elearners.com/guide/majors-and-careers/business-and-mba/

-Numbered Pagination http://www.elearners.com/guide/majors-and-careers/business-and-mba/

-Breadcrumb written with Chalk (Nvelocity)

-All and all it is about 300 unique content pages

We wrote a few theme extensions; the pagination with numbers, our tracking, hooks into our own DB, ability to place a widget anywhere by title but nothing too crazy. The majority of the site's functionality has been built utilizing graffiti's core features such as widgets, custom fields, tagging, custom theme fields in the theme.config and Nvelocity's theming engine. I have really grown to love Nvelocity it is one of the simplest languages I have ever used and this CMS is very easy to extend.

I would really like to see this CMS continue to grow, I still find it to be better quality than some of those being sold for thousands.
